The latest version of the Ripple app includes a number of updates to improve efficiency in navigating your studies and creating accurate logs of participant interactions.
New Features & Functionality
Added the ability to send Bulk Emails. Now from the Potential Participants or Enrolled Participants list pages you can send emails to multiple participants at once. Simply select more than one participant from the list and choose the Send Bulk Email option from the action dropdown. The resulting window will allow you to customize the email message, including using placeholders to insert participant names and other details.
Better Study Management. Now on the Site Admin - Studies page you have better visibility and control over how your account’s studies are listed. By default your studies will appear in alphabetical order, but the table can be resorted by Date Active or Date Ending. New filters, search and pagination allow you to quickly and easily find the study you are looking for.
Improved Contact Method Display Options. When displayed on the participant table all the contact method fields will take into consideration the participant self-contact, and any preferred contact methods when determining which data to display.
Updated Export and Import for Preferred Contact Methods. The Import and Export functionality on the Site Admin section have been updated to support preferred contact methods. This update also includes the ability to import contact methods directly to the participant self-contact without creating new contacts.
- Addressed an issue with email fields not populating when using a template.
- Fixed an error that displayed when a user without site admin permissions tried to send an email from within a study.
- Ensured that archived studies listed under the Family section of the participant profile were not clickable.
- Duplicate Global IDs were being created on screener forms if no birthday was present on the form.
