What is Web to Lead?
A Web to Lead form is used to capture data submitted by potential participants directly from a website. The Ripple Web to Lead form can be used to screen potential participants based on study requirements or simply register them in your Ripple database.
Upon completion of your Web to Lead form, a participant’s status is automatically updated based on whether they pass or fail the screening criteria. The study administrator can determine in advance what status participants who pass or fail the screening criteria should be moved to. For example, if a participant passes the screening criteria (e.g., female, age 18-25, no previous drug use), he or she could be automatically moved to the status “To Be Contacted.” If a participant fails the screening (e.g., female, age 18-25, previous drug use), he or she could be automatically moved to the status “Screen Fail” within the "Potential Participants" tab. Ripple will also save the participant information to the registry in the event that the participant meets requirements for other or future studies.
The Web to Lead tool is fully configurable, allowing users to use any number of questions, variables and design elements to make the form unique to the study and site. The inclusion criteria can be set on any number of variables, and the status which participants should move to based on pass/fail can be defined.
Finally, you can convert screening forms you have already built into Web to Lead forms with the click of a button. Continue reading below for detailed instructions on building and using the Web to Lead tool in Ripple.
